about

Deborah

I have always been drawn to metaphysics, but as a kid, I didn't know that's what it was called.  I could see and sense things that I could not explain.

Many years later, while at women's retreat, for the first time in my life I felt safe enough to talk about my experiences.  I told my story of sensing other individual’s dis-ease.  They asked me to demonstrate on a volunteer and tell her what I could sense.  Immediately, I explained that her hips were not quite right, and she said yes, that was correct, surprising us both!  After the retreat, I was guided to learn about Reiki, a gentle form of energetic healing.  I found a teacher and learned Reiki - it opened a whole new world for me.  Finally, what I had been experiencing since I was a child had a name, and a form, and teachers!

In 2009, my passion as a medical intuitive propelled me to learn and develop energetic modalities to assist in the healing process for individuals with individual needs.  It's wonderfully rewarding to discover healing methods that are gentle and non-invasive. I attended a Matrix Energetics seminar and immediately felt how this healing modality added to and augmented my abilities and my insight.  In the years since then, I've been strongly guided towards my purpose of providing energetic healing in a private practice. I received certification as a Master Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming, became a state licensed Hypnotherapist, and received Shamanic training, all adding to my healing toolbox.  More and more, the Universe kept guiding and pushing me towards a healing centered practice, one in which I can assist individuals to move from dis- ease to ease, from pain to comfort and now I have one.

I started photography as child, learning it from my father. Over the years, I've enjoyed capturing images while traveling, at events, in gardens, auto shows and fireworks. I've studied with all kinds of photographers in varied locations, some focusing on people, some concentrating on travel and others specializing in techniques like macro or tilt lens. Whatever the subject, I look for beauty, balance, interest and fun in photography.

Throughout my life, there is one thing that has always been a constant source of joy, and that is music.  I've sung in choirs since junior high school, had voice lessons for many years, studied music theory and music history, and for the past 15 years have sung with Seattle Pro Musica, an incredible choir that creates music that is transcendent and magical.
